Animal Chiropractor

The bones of the spine and joints have specific alignments. A misalignment may affect the nerves that surround the spine and joints. Even slight misalignments can cause pain in the muscles and joints, and can affect glands and bodily functions. Correcting misalignments can improve nervous system function, affect blood flow, reduce pain, and allow normal bodily functions to return. Sometimes an animal will feel better after one adjustment, but sometimes several adjustments may be necessary.

Malinda is an animal chiropractor and is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She will work with you and your veterinarian to keep you animal healthy and happy.

You can contact Malinda at MAL919@hotmail.com or 410-988-2122 for an appointment.

Animal Massage

Just as massage is good for humans, it’s also good for animals. Massage can help an animal relax, loosen their muscles and relieve pain and stiffness. Massage is a supplement to and not a replacement of traditional veterinary medicine. Our Certified Equine and Canine Massage Therapist works with your veterinarian to ensure your animal’s safety.

Equine Massage

  • Pre-Event (loosens, warms and readies the muscles for an event)
  • Post-Event (relieves muscle pain and stiffness)
  • Maintenance / Prevention

Benefits of Equine Massage

  • Enhances muscle tone
  • Increases range of motion
  • Reduces inflammation and swelling in the joints
  • Eases muscle spasms
  • Relieves tension; relaxes muscles
  • Stimulates circulation by relaxing the muscles, thereby releasing endorphins – natural pain killers
  • Improves circulation; promotes rapid healing of injuries
  • Promotes healing by increasing the flow of nutrients to the muscles, carrying away excessive fluids and toxins

  • Lengthens connective tissue; breaks down/prevents the formation of adhesions and reduces the danger of fibrosis
  • Helps maintain the whole body in better physical condition.

Benefits of sports massage

  • Aids in preventing injuries and loss of mobility
  • Boosts athletic performance and endurance
  • Restores mobility to injured muscle tissue
  • Extends both the good health and the overall life of the animal’s athletic career
